At just 14 years old, Mia has ridden Talker into the Finals of the Open Snafflebit Futurity at the 2026 Futurity โ finishing in the Top 20 out of more than 120 contenders.
This year the Non Pro and Pro divisions were combined, meaning Mia stepped into the pen against some of the most respected and seasoned trainers in the industryโฆ and held her own.
To watch your own daughter achieve something like this is hard to put into words.
The hours behind the scenes, the sacrifices, the setbacks, the pressure, the early mornings and late nights โ she just keeps showing up and giving it everything she has.
At only 14 years old, making the finals at one of the countryโs biggest cutting events against seasoned trainers is an incredible achievement and one she should be extremely proud of.
We are beyond proud of Mia, Talker and the people behind her journey. No matter what happens from here, making this final is already a massive achievement.
