🌟Job opportunity: Seeking an Experienced Horse Person 🌟

📍 Location: Elysian Fields, Wonglepong 4275.
⏰ Start Date: Immediate
💷 Salary: Competitive, based on experience.

We’re looking for a reliable, experienced horse person with strong horsemanship skills ideally with prior experience handling mares, foals & yearlings.

This is a hands-on role at a boutique stables caring for a select group of Thoroughbred mares, foals, yearlings and show-jumpers.

✅ who we are looking for -

- Confident handling horses of all ages with a strong skill set to handle/train uneducated horses. We have a busy period ahead weaning mares and foals.

- Maintains high standards of horse care with horse welfare at the forefront.

- Sound veterinary knowledge.

- Availability to work some weekends.

- Casual position up to 4 days/week - flexible schedule.
- Award hourly rates.

This is a hands-on role at a boutique stables caring for a select group of mares, foals, yearlings and show-jumpers. This position will be full time hours to cover a period of maternity leave with the opportunity to stay on with reduced hours for the right candidate.

Evan Almighty is a 6 y/o, 16.1hh Aquis Farm Hong Kong Retiree who has enjoyed 12 months out in the paddock relaxing after a successful racing career.

Evan has been brought back into work slowly gaining strength, proving to be very brave and willing.

He has established basic flat work & jumping and now has the correct foundations for his new rider to continue his off the track career.

Evan is eligible for the QOTT subsidised lesson programme.

Evan is for sale to the best of homes for $3,500 he will commence competitions if not sold prior.

Inviting experienced horse people to apply for a full time position based at Elysian Fields we run a boutique group of broodmares through to weanling / yearling care and management up to full sale preparation. We take a personalised approach with small drafts and aim to produce each horse to its best potential.

*general horse handling and leading
