This is Simba.

Simba is an almost 3 year old Cocker Spaniel.

Simba is the poster dog for squishy, floppy, warm puppy cuddles.

He's got long perfectly wavy, soft ears.

His nose is perfectly wet and kissable.

He's floppy and trusting and lets the nursing crew place his catheter with ease.

We love you Simba.

When Mum and Dad bring the kids in and they're less than 24 hours old!

Tsara and Rudi are the proud parents of 4 Russian Toy puppies, born on the 27th of May.

We were lucky enough to meet them on the 28th, less than 24 hours after they were born.

Mumma is AMAZING. She is such an attentive Mumma but still lets us handle the pups to check them over.

Dad is not allowed near they pups for the first few weeks, but as they open their eyes Mumma allows him to play with them. He then kicks in to full Dad mode, showing them his toys and gently playing with them.

What a gorgeous family and such a treat for our team to meet.

FIV stands for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus.

It is a slow-acting virus that attacks a cat's immune system, making them more vulnerable to secondary infections and illnesses.

While it is in the same viral family as HIV in humans, FIV is strictly species-specific. Humans and other animals cannot catch it.

How is it Spread?
Bite Wounds: The most common way FIV is transmitted is through deep, penetrating bite wounds during cat fights.

Mating: It can sometimes be passed through sexual contact.

Mother to Kittens: An infected mother can pass the virus to her kittens during birth or through nursing.

Give us a call if you'd like to check on your cats FIV vaccination status

Thank you .petcare for our air fryer!

The team is LOVING their breaks even more than usual. The favourite of the last two weeks has been baked potatoes with chives, cashew cream, crispy chilli oil and salt and pepper.

There has also been potato gems, spring rolls, reheated pizza, arancini balls, spinach and fetta rolls to name a few.

What should we cook next to keep the team going on these crisp Gold Coast days?

This is Doug. Doug is adorable. Doug would like you to have a wonderful day.

Oh Stanley, I just can't with your soulful eyes and wet boop-able puppy dog nose!!

This example of puppy perfection is almost 6 year old Stanley. He's a Rhodesian Ridgeback and spent the day with us recently for Dr. Mark to remove a couple of lumps.

We spent a lot of time stroking his exceptionally soft ears and staring into those gorgeous eyes... and of course removing the lumps..
