Well…this is one of those posts I never thought I’d write 💕
What started as a simple idea and a little dream grew into something so much bigger than I ever imagined. The Herdd became more than just a business, it became a community, a creative outlet from working full time, countless very late nights (sometimes all nighters), big ideas, challenges, milestones and most importantly… friendships.
Over the years I’ve had the privilege of meeting so many incredible people. Customers who turned into friends, supporters who cheered me on from day one, and people from all corners of the country who trusted me to be a small part of their events, businesses and memories. For that, I will be forever grateful.
A few fun little milestones from my time behind The Herdd, sent all over Australia and parts of the world:
🔥More than 500 custom laser engraved serving boards created
🔥Nearly 17,000 custom cattle tags made
🔥Over 3,000 custom laser engraved trophy brushes created
And that doesn’t even include all the items donated over the years to support campdrafts, polocrosse, fundraisers, pony clubs, cattle camps, cattle shows, working dog shows, horse shows and all the ready to go designs created for market stall days.
To think all of that came from one little idea…it honestly blows my mind still to this day.
This Friday marks the end of an era for me, as I officially hand The Herdd over to its new owners. While it’s bittersweet closing this chapter, I know this fabulous little business is heading into an exciting new season and I genuinely wish the new owners every success.
The website will reopen on Friday under the new ownership and ready to take orders again.
As for me, it’s time to shift my focus to the more important things in life…my partner and our little family. The people who have supported me through every busy season, every late night, every order deadline and every crazy idea.
Thank you. Thank you for every order, every message, every share, every recommendation, every tag on a post and every bit of support over the years.
The Herdd will always hold a very special place in my heart.
Love always,
Amanda x
