Farm days with friends

One of the loveliest things about Clicker Academy is watching the friendships that grow over the years. Some of our daycare dogs have been coming for so long that arriving at the farm feels like catching up with their extended family.

From zoomies through the paddocks to sunbaking together after a big play session, these dogs truly adore their farm adventures and their long-term buddies.

Recently we’ve sadly lost several very special long-time members of our daycare family. Beautiful Shia the Maltese after an incredible 13 years with us, Barney the Maltese x after 14 years coming to Clicker Academy, Boss GSD after 9 wonderful years, Ollie the gorgeous Moodle after 7 years of adventures together, and sweet Chloe the Labradoodle who was part of the Clicker family for around 14 years 💔

It’s been a heartbreaking few months for us. These beautiful dogs become part of our everyday lives and we grieve for them too. There have been many tears shared with friends and family over the loss of these precious little souls and the paw prints they leave imprinted on our hearts forever.

It can sometimes be hard to explain to people that they weren’t technically “our” dogs, but anyone who truly knows Clicker Academy understands how deeply we love and welcome these beautiful dogs into our lives and family.

Gorgeous Charlie the Labrador is also taking a little break while his mum welcomes a new baby into the family.

After taking some time to grieve and process these losses, we finally feel emotionally ready to welcome a small number of new dogs onto the Clicker Academy bus and into our little daycare family.

We welcome puppies from 10 weeks of age onwards and will happily conduct behaviour evaluations on pups over 20 weeks. We have small/puppy doggy days and bigger pup days so will match your pup/dog to be surrounded by incredible friends.

To our Clicker Academy clients and local community,

It has come to our attention that false and defamatory statements about Clicker Academy have been published in local online public groups by individuals using the names Chris Whitworth and Betty Sanofi (alias). Clients have also been contacted via personal messages and have had defamatory posts placed on their public business pages.

The statements being circulated are damaging to our professional reputation and are now being formally documented. The publication of false claims about a business constitutes defamation under Australian law, and we are treating this matter seriously.

Clicker Academy has operated with transparency, professionalism, and a strong duty of care to every dog entrusted to us. Our collection routes, handling protocols, and operational standards remain unchanged.

We understand that seeing negative commentary online can be unsettling. If any client has questions or concerns, we invite you to contact us directly. We are always willing to speak openly and provide clarity.

Accurate documentation is important.

Happy New Year to all of our wonderful clients. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your family. So many of you have come through puppy preschool with us, puppy teens classes, good manners, Animal Assisted Therapy, Nursing home visits and PLAY GROUP (we miss play group soooo much! how many muffins do you think we consumed with our tea???!). We look forward to 2026 and our new, fun Doggy Water Park. Whoop whoop xx

Thinking of adding a rescue/rehome? Homes needed for a few lovely long haired chihuahuas. They are 4 and 6 years old. They love people, other pets and are as cute as chips. Currently Located in the Hunter Valley but we will look after them if needed until homed. More details and pics coming shortly.

Cookies owner passed away so he is looking for a loving family. Please share

💙 Meet Cookie, a Gentle Soul, Loyal Companion (Approx. 13 Years Old)
🩵Cookie is a sweet, affectionate boy who’s been through a lot. After his beloved owner was hospitalised and sadly passed away, Cookie stayed in the home with family visiting twice daily. He’s been deeply loved, and it shows in his gentle nature and friendly spirit. Cookie currently weighs 21kgs, having had little exercise he gained a kilo or two.
❤️What Cookie Loves:
Hanging out with other gentle dogs (or being your one-and-only if you're home often)
• Watching the world go by from the window
• Helping in the garden (he’s a great supervisor!)
• Greeting neighbours on walks
• Food and snacks, he enjoys kibble with a bit of meat and veg
• Tapping your arm or chair for pats (his signature move!)
Cookie is housetrained, walks beautifully on lead, and will let you know when he needs to go out. A single-level home would suit him best as he gets older.
🩺 Health & Care:
• Recently had a dental and is feeling great
• Has a few harmless warts and bumps — just something to keep an eye on
• Slightly short-sighted now, but still hears well and is very obedient
• On Cartrophen injections for arthritis and happily does 30-minute walks
• Lives peacefully with three small dogs
• Not tested with cats — as a terrier cross, he may not be suitable
Cookie doesn’t bark when left alone, but he’ll alert you if a stranger or tradie is around. He’s a loyal little watchdog with a heart of gold.

Love the beach? We take our dogs to the beaches in Sydney and surrounds regularly. Please remember to keep your dogs away from ‘SEA HARES’. They may release a toxic slime which can kill your dog quickly. It depends on what the sea hare has been eating as to how toxic their slime will be.
