How incredible is the adaptation on this Northern Leaf-tailed Gecko? 🤯 I don’t usually post videos about non-snake species, but this big guy had to be an exception - I’ve never seen a lizard like this. How insane is this North Queensland native??

Watch until the end for a surprise 😅 this native Bullsnake was friendly as can be after I saved him off a remote mountain road… at least for a little while 🤣

Have you ever seen a snake this vibrant? 🤯 This is a normal morph of the Common Tree Snake (or Green Tree Snake), but “normal” and “common” aren’t the words I’d use to describe this stunning little baby 😍

The second most venomous snake in the world, the Eastern Brown Snake (or Common Brown Snake), is one of the most iconic Australian snakes. Thanks to its very dramatic and defensive temperament, its venom toxicity, and its widespread distribution in Eastern Australia, this species had developed a strong reputation and is responsible for the most deaths by snakebite in the country (which is only about 3 a year total!). This individual was only a juvenile, but certainly had an adult attitude 😮‍💨 what a snake!

How good are the colors on this Eastern Yellow-bellied Racer? 😍 These guys are one of my favorite Colorado natives - they’re fast, flighty, and great hunters (and pest control!)

The Broad-headed snake is an endangered, highly venomous, small elapid native only to the unique sandstone around the Sydney Basin in Australia. I was extremely lucky to get a good look at this spectacular and rare snake 😍 how beautiful is it?

*Disclaimer: this is an endangered species and I did not handle the snake at all; it was found in its natural habitat and left exactly as it was found.

Would you have seen this concealed Prairie Rattlesnake? Most of them will be just like this - hidden away from you and completely uninterested in confrontation. Stay on trails and be alert and you will never have to worry about stepping on one!

How cool is this gorgeous little baby Yellow-faced Whipsnake? I’m back in Australia and this is a new species for me, even though it’s one of the more common in the Sydney area. Luckily, these guys are only mildly venomous and can’t kill a human - unlike most of the Aussie natives! 😅

How well camouflaged was this guy on the side of his rock? This is a wandering garter snake and it’s a special snake for me because I’ve caught these since the age of 4 🥹

How friendly are the common native bullsnakes in Colorado? Let this be your answer 😅 this beautiful girl was on the crawl on a warm spring afternoon when I rudely interrupted her basking, but she was very sweet and loved to climb on me clearly!
