ALLERGIES & HEALTH ISSUE information

For many years I've seen people struggle with diets for dogs.
Especially Oodles trying every food under the sun.
This is what I have discovered it's the WATER.

TAP water has additives like Ammonia, Chlorine, Flouride (excess flouride is categorised the same as lead and arsenic for poisoning see below article), heavy metals like copper and MORE.
All known to cause poisoning, immflamation, endocrine issues & disruption like thyroid, hormones etc
This effects methylation which is responsible for histamine production (controls sensitivities & allergies especially food).

I noticed my animals preferred the fish tank water or the rain water and thought that was strange as it would be considered dirty by us but when I thought about it I realised it's chemical free.
A fish can't survive in our tap water for even a minute why on earth are humans using this water?

Interesting fact multiple countries overseas don't add flouride to their water.

I wouldn't use tap water for anything anymore. filtered only including showering.
Filters can be bought from $30 online or Woolies sells PURE brand water which we use also.
There is no excuse to use chemical filled water anymore.

I have been using filtered water for my cat with thyroid and kidney issues and been able to reduce medication and she's gaining weight again & skin issues gone.

Had to share.
We saw a lady in Bali guiding 100 ducks along the main road using just a stick with a plastic bag on the end.
Was so impressed! 🦆🦆
I can't even get Everest to walk in a straight line

Holiday Bookings are now closed for April & Easter inclusive.

Shire Pet Minding will not be accepting any further holiday bookings for the month of April, including Easter.

Bookings already confirmed for this time will continue as normal. This is for new bookings only.

Daycare for existing clients will remain available.

Ryan @ Shire Pet Staycation may be able to help with holiday stays subject to availability.

🎄Pick up & drop off times are required to be pre booked.

If you are unable to make your booked time slot please contact to arrange an alternate time as your new prefered time may not be available.

September/October school holidays are almost here.
We are very excited to have an awesome group for the holidays with lots of fun to come.

A few notes -

We are currently fully booked from 29th September - 13th October.
New bookings are available for the 14th of October onwards.

Booking confirmations are currently being sent out.

Just a reminder that drop off and pick up times will need to be arranged prior.

If plans change we understand & we are flexible, we will do our best to accomodate a new time.

Keep an eye out for Army worms they ate through the old lawn in under a week!
