For those who have read the story behind the wool coats, I wanted to share a little more about where it all began. ❤️
The inspiration behind the wool coats was my beautiful Mumma.
Sadly, when her vascular dementia progressed, we had to make the heartbreaking decision to place her into care. While emptying my parents’ home, I came across all of Mum’s beautiful wool blankets.
Those blankets became so much more than just blankets. They became the inspiration behind the wool coats — a way of giving something she treasured a new life, while keeping a little piece of Mumma with me in everything I create.
Sadly, my beautiful Mumma passed away on the 7th of September.
My heart is broken, 💔 and I miss her more than words can ever say.
But I will do my very best to keep her legacy alive in everything I do. I’ll keep giving 110%, just as she always did.
Every wool coat I create will carry a little piece of her story, her strength and her memory.
This was all inspired by you, Mumma. ❤️
