***Update***

Good Evening Everyone,

Despite our best efforts, securing an additional international judge at such short notice has proven extremely difficult, especially with time running short.

However, we are pleased to confirm our second judge for the upcoming 76th Championship Show: our very own, Kerryn O’Brien (pending Dogs NSW approval). Kerryn is very much looking forward to being part of this special event.

We sincerely thank you for your patience and understanding, and we look forward to seeing you all this weekend.

Due to last-minute circumstances beyond our control, our chosen judge, Mrs M Dubovenko is unable to judge. The club is in the process of organising a backup judge. Once confirmed by Dogs DOGS NSW, we will advise accordingly.

Mrs M Dubovenko has confirmed an appointment for 2026.

On behalf of the Rottweiler Club of NSW and a shared sentiment with the international Rottweiler community, we bid farewell to a legend in the breed whose work will not be seen undone. We wish Dirk’s family and friends our sincere condolences and trust the God will guide them through this sad time of mourning.

After a long battle, against a cancer we said goodbye to Dirk Vandecasteele who was a renowned judge and the president of the International Federation of Rottweiler Friends.

There are heroes and then there are legends, heroes get remembered but legends never die.

May you rest in peace dear friend and a heartfelt thank you to your contribution to our majestic breed, you will always be remembered!
