Have you met Shayla?

Shayla began volunteering at Hurlstone Park Veterinary Hospital in February 2022 and eventually joined a casual position as a Veterinary Nurse Assistant in June 2023. During this time, she completed her Bachelor of Science and Advanced Studies, specialising in Animal Health, Disease and Welfare/ Animal Production, at the University of Sydney in 2024.

With a lifelong passion for animal care and wellbeing, Shayla has helped raise pet dogs since childhood. She enjoys working at Hurlstone Park Veterinary Hospital, where she continues to expand her knowledge of patient care alongside a team of dedicated and passionate professionals.
