🐾 Obi’s Big Adventure – Round Two! 🐶

This mischievous little guy just can’t seem to stay out of trouble!

At just under 7 months old, Obi has already undergone two surgeries to remove foreign objects from his tummy.

He recently came in after a morning of continuous vomiting. After a thorough examination by Dr Michael and an ultrasound, we discovered two intestinal blockages.
Straight to surgery he went—and what did we find? Two nutmeg seeds, likely discarded by bats and quickly swallowed by our curious friend!

✅ Surgery went smoothly and we’re happy to report Obi is on the road to a full recovery.

This was Obi’s second exploratory laparotomy in just a few months… Let’s hope this is his last visit to theatre for a long while!

🐾 Tucker’s Big Day at WHVH! 🐶💛

Today our golden boy Tucker came in with a sore ear. Thankfully, he was in the caring hands of his favourite vet, Dr. Yamuna, who made sure he felt safe, relaxed — and well-rewarded with plenty of doggy treats! 🦴✨

After a thorough check-up and an ear swab examined under the microscope, we found an ear infection. But no worries — with treatment underway and a follow-up booked in 3 weeks, Tucker is on the road to recovery. 💊👩‍⚕️

🐶💛 Maggie’s Swollen Snout Scare

Poor Maggie the cocker spaniel gave her family quite the fright this morning when she woke up with a swollen snout — despite being safely indoors all night! 😢💕

Thankfully, Dr. Yamuna was on the case. With gentle care, Maggie was sedated and had an X-ray and cytology performed to get to the bottom of it. After a thorough check… good news! 🙌 There was nothing to worry about, and Maggie was given the all clear.

She’s now back home, ready to enjoy the long weekend with her loving family. 💕🐾
