Cookies owner passed away so he is looking for a loving family. Please share
đź’™ Meet Cookie, a Gentle Soul, Loyal Companion (Approx. 13 Years Old)
🩵Cookie is a sweet, affectionate boy who’s been through a lot. After his beloved owner was hospitalised and sadly passed away, Cookie stayed in the home with family visiting twice daily. He’s been deeply loved, and it shows in his gentle nature and friendly spirit. Cookie currently weighs 21kgs, having had little exercise he gained a kilo or two.
❤️What Cookie Loves:
Hanging out with other gentle dogs (or being your one-and-only if you're home often)
• Watching the world go by from the window
• Helping in the garden (he’s a great supervisor!)
• Greeting neighbours on walks
• Food and snacks, he enjoys kibble with a bit of meat and veg
• Tapping your arm or chair for pats (his signature move!)
Cookie is housetrained, walks beautifully on lead, and will let you know when he needs to go out. A single-level home would suit him best as he gets older.
đź©ş Health & Care:
• Recently had a dental and is feeling great
• Has a few harmless warts and bumps — just something to keep an eye on
• Slightly short-sighted now, but still hears well and is very obedient
• On Cartrophen injections for arthritis and happily does 30-minute walks
• Lives peacefully with three small dogs
• Not tested with cats — as a terrier cross, he may not be suitable
Cookie doesn’t bark when left alone, but he’ll alert you if a stranger or tradie is around. He’s a loyal little watchdog with a heart of gold.
