SAFE Animal Rehoming SAFE stands for 'Sydney's Animals For Everyone'. We rehome animals, mainly cats in Sydney Australia. We also offer premium boarding for cats.

It was launched in September 2017 by a group of professional animal carers who run the charity on an unpaid basis and since that time SAFE has earned a reputation as a trusted place for unwanted, home

less and stray animals. SAFE cares for animals both at SAFE Haven in Roseville and through foster carers. All dogs are cared for by foster carers
Animals are either surrendered or found abandoned by good samaritans. All animals available for adoption are microchipped, desexed, health checked, behaviour assessed, vaccinated and treated for fleas and worms. The charity is run by a committee voted for by members and headed by a President. It has a membership structure which brings in fees once a year, otherwise it depends on donations and fundraising activities to care for the animals in care. https://saferehoming.com.au

Just another hoop to jump through.... google has suddenly decided we have to make a 2-5 minute video featuring our location and proof that our business is connected to the premises we are filming. We have tried a couple of times and been rejected. It could take google up to 5 days to verify. We will persevere but meanwhile the charity will not come up on any searches. If anybody out there works for google, if you have successfully shot a video which has been verified or can help us to overcome this challenge please reach out to us....Thanks!

We have been busy cleaning Barcoo Street for the last week or so and have delayed painting over these murals ...but unfortunately the time has come...and it was an emotional moment as we reflected on the number of cats and kittens who were adopted from our first premises in Roseville (2,000+). Thankfully 9 years later we have been able to progress into a new home at 𝟐/πŸ” π“πšπ«π¨π§π πš 𝐏π₯𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐚 π•πšπ₯𝐞
We look forward to seeing you there!

Patch, Emmy and Mr Adventurer were the first three cats that have been adopted from our new home in Mona Vale. For those who don’t know, you can now find us at Unit 2/ 6 Taronga Pl, Mona Vale. We are still settling in, but we have a number of lovely cats looking for their forever homes. So please feel free to come for a visit any day between 10am and 4pm.

🐾 FOSTER CARERS WANTED URGENTLY 🐾

We had a fantastic response to our last post with lots of single cats finding foster homes, but we are still desperately looking for carers who can foster Mum and kittens. You would need to live on the Northern Beaches or North Shore and have a spare room/ spare bathroom. The time commitment is 3 months. If you can help we would love to hear from you. πŸŽ‰ 11 adoptions over the long weekend πŸŽ‰

We had a fantastic weekend with lots of adoptions but we want to mention one in particular. Our gorgeous boy Rory finally found a loving home after 337 days in care. He was found with complex eye issues and was treated by our friends The Beaches Vet and today was his lucky day. He is very loved by all our volunteers and we are over the moon for him that he will finally get to experience what it is like to live in a loving home.
