🎄✨ Just Clearing the Tinsel… ✨🎄

We’ve heard a few whispers floating around that Santa’s Little Painters has “gone out of business” — so we thought we’d pop on here and clear that up with a smile.

We are very much still here.
The only thing that’s out of action is my right rotator cuff 😅 (yep… my painting arm). That’s the only reason we’re not running a physical shop this year.

I’d hate for our beautiful customers to feel pressured into paying eye-watering prices elsewhere — especially when you’re being charged for the box, the ribbon, the string, the lettering… and suddenly one bauble costs more than Christmas lunch. 🎄😬
Even worse, I’ve heard too many stories of people getting home only to find their ornaments broken because the quality just isn’t there. That honestly breaks my heart.

So here’s the truth:
✨ I am taking orders
✨ I am still painting
✨ I just can’t keep up with online orders this year, which is why everything looks “out of stock” on the website
✨ I’m having a quieter Christmas so I can recover properly — and give you a BIG, sparkly, magical Christmas next year 💛

My prices have stayed the same for over 15 years because I’ve never been in this for just the money. I’m in it for the love, the memories, the tradition — and because this Shire girl puts her heart and soul into every single ornament. ❤️🎨

Over the past 29 years i have built something truly special with Santa’s Little Painters, and that heart comes through no matter what year, what challenge, or what anyone else says.

So no… we haven’t gone anywhere.
We’re just doing Christmas a little differently this year — with more care, less pressure, and the same magic as always. ✨

🎄❤️ A Very Different (But Still Magical!) Christmas at Santa’s Little Painters for 2025❤️🎄

To our beautiful Santa’s Little Painters family…
This year, for the first time in 29 years, we won’t be running a physical store — and trust us, nobody is more shocked than we are!

Our beloved founder, painter, glitter-queen and chief Christmas elf, Rosie, has unfortunately torn her right rotator cuff… which also happens to be her writing arm. 🎨😅
(We always said if she ever slowed down, the universe would have to physically tackle her — and here we are!)

But don’t worry — in true Rosie style, she’s refusing to let anyone down.
So although there’s no shopfront this year, Santa’s Little Painters is STILL running… just a little differently:

🎁 Taking orders from home
🎁 Local drop-offs right to your door
🎁 $10 postage anywhere in Australia
🎁 Orders + pick-ups available at Rubyniks Café in Westfield Miranda (because coffee and Christmas magic go hand in hand ☕️🎄)

Our online store won’t be open this year — Rosie simply can’t manage the huge volume of online orders on top of her injury.
And for the first time in nearly three decades, she’s taking a little Christmas self-care (honestly, she’s earned a century of it).

Many of you will remember…
✨ The year she worked SIX WEEKS STRAIGHT whilst four months pregnant with TWINS and she went into very early labour & still kept painting.
✨ The day she went into emergency surgery with a burst appendix and the doctor wanted to know why the operating table was covered in glitter.
✨ When her beloved grandmother passed — and Rosie still made sure every single order was finished before she allowed herself to cry.

So yes… when we say the universe gave her a sixer this year, we mean it.
But she’s still here.
Still painting.
Still taking your calls.
Still making sure your baubles sparkle just the way you love them.
Because, according to her, “you lot won’t ever let me retire.” 😂❤️

We make a good team all us elves… from left to right… Cranky Elf, Favourite Elf, Chatty Elf, Santa, Dramatic Elf and our Princess Elf. Meanwhile the Chaos Coordinator Elf was too busy once again to join in the pic, while Rosie the Queen Elf was snapping the pics. Merry Christmas everyone 🎄🎄🎄

It’s our last day today at the wonderful so don’t forget your reindeer goid and Santa’s magical key 🔑. We don’t have chimneys anymore so this key is the only way Santa can enter your home to drop off all the presents. It only works for him. 🧑‍🎄 the reindeer food has SLP’s magical ingredients so Rudolf can help lead the sleigh straight to your front door! 🛷 🎄🚪

The Queen Elf and her Princess are both at Santa’s Little Painters in today. Come by and say hi, we would love to see you. The Chatty Elf will also be there , while the Favourite Elf is helping the Cranky Elf in the warehouse. Meanwhile the Chaos Coordinator Elf was too busy to join in our pic as she was frantically coordinating a whole heap of chaos! Hope you all like our new uniforms 🌟🌟🌟

A Message from Santa’s Little Painters

This year has been financially tough for so many. With the rising cost of living and interest rates, I know there are families out there feeling the pressure, especially as Christmas draws near. I am hearing the same stories everyday as many are struggling to buy gifts for their kids or loved ones, and it breaks my heart to know what some people , just everyday families like you and I are going through.

So, this Christmas , Santa’s Little Painters wants to pay it forward. Over the coming week, I’m offering free personalised Christmas baubles for those who are genuinely doing it tough. It’s my gift to you, my way of saying thank you to this incredible community and to the Shire, who have supported me through thick and thin.

As many of you know, after 26 wonderful years at Westfield Miranda, they made the decision not to have us back. It was a huge challenge, but the loyalty and love you’ve shown me by traveling to Menai Marketplace instead has been nothing short of amazing. It’s not just a testament to my work and creativity—it’s a reflection of the Shire’s unwavering loyalty and support. I am beyond grateful, and this is my way of showing my appreciation. I may not be in Miranda anymore, even though my legacy still remains, but I am still here in the Shire, still painting, and still creating magic for you at Menai Marketplace.

So if you’re finding things tough, please come see me. We can be discreet about it—just ask for Rosie and give me a hug. No one will know because I am known for hugging everyone! Let’s have a quick chat, and I’d love to create a personalised bauble for you or someone you love or who is no longer with you on the earthly plane. It can even be for your dog or cat or one just for yourself !

One small thing I ask is for people to please be honest about their situation when accepting this gift. It will be bad karma otherwise. For obvious reasons I can’t afford myself to give away my most expensive baubles, but the selection I have chosen will be colourful and cheerful .

This Christmas, let’s come together as a community and share a little extra love. Thank you for standing by me, for traveling to see me, and for being part of this journey. I can’t wait to create something special for you.
