We specialize in bringing the Vet Consultation to your doorstep. Designed and owned by vets, we understand the increasing demand for mobile services in our industry. Our vets and their fully equipped vans will bring the consult room to you. Our Vans and their mobile vets each have their own designated local areas of coverage. With a more locally defined area to cover, we can keep our service quick

, personal and avoid the long travel times all over Sydney, which can become expensive to our clients. Our vans have been specifically designed by a team of fully qualified vets to bring the actual veterinary clinic to you. We will be able to perform a thorough and proper physical exam in our fully equipped ‘mobile consult room’ and even run basic diagnostic work on site for fast results. We also function as a pet emergency transport vehicle to transport sick patients safely to our partner hospitals. With onsite oxygen, IV fluids and emergency medication on hand, you can be sure that our vets can provide only the very best care. With today’s busy lifestyle and longer work hours, we understand that it can be hard to find the time to bring your pet to your local vet. The whole process from getting your pet into the car and into the waiting room can be a time consuming and a stressful ordeal for many pets and their owners. For some, the car journey and waiting room experience alone can create a great deal of stress to the pet, and this can be concerning especially with our older or sick patients. Puppies with lower immunity and who are not fully up to date with their vaccinations are also at risk of being exposed to other sick patients in the waiting room. Let us bring the vets and consult room to you. We fit into your schedule, whether it’s before or after you get home from work, between cooking dinner, whist baby is having its naptime, or during the short breaks in your busy day. Welcome Dr Elissa! 🙋🏼‍♀️🩺 Dr Elissa is new to the AMV team and she is the perfect fit! Not only is she obsessed with coffee and van snacks… but she adores both dogs and cats! Her favourite breeds are groodles (well anything oodle) and Burmese cats (although she has a couple at home so she’s a little biased 😉). That’s a wrap!!! Aussie Mobile Vet is officially on holidays! Thank you everyone for a wonderful year, our clients and patients really make our job so special! 💕
Every year it seems we are getting more and more busy! This year we’ve welcomed all our new patients, existing patients, 3 new nurses on our nursing division team and have had to sadly say goodbye to some very beloved patients as well. The veterinary industry is amazing and fulfilling, it can also be quite challenging at times so we are taking a well deserved break! 😴

We will be closed from the 24/12 until the 3/1/2023!! 🎉

We are so excited to see you all in the New Year… until then we will be spending time with family, friends and our furbabies! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from the AMV family to yours! 💕

ONE TICKET - HUNDREDS OF LIVES EACH YEAR

Our industrious volunteers have organised a raffle to raise money to keep Possumwood Wildlife Hospital Clinics running. There are some great prizes to be won . Please buy a ticket .All money raised will help buy for example -medication, oxygen,anaesthetic, equipment (a blood analysis machine would save the hospital thousands of dollars each year in pathology costs ).
