A man walked through the street with one pet on his shoulder, another by his side, and a disabled dog moving with help from a small cart. Nothing about the moment looked staged. He was simply getting everyone where they needed to go together.

That is what makes the picture land. The dog in the cart was not treated like a burden or left at home. He was right there with the rest of the family, included in the walk like he belonged in every step of it.

A lot of love looks ordinary from a distance. Then you look closer and realize someone has built their whole routine around making sure no animal gets left behind.

Happy 1st Birthday, Teddy! 🎂🐾

Today we’re sending the biggest birthday wishes to beautiful Teddy, who was adopted from NSW Animal Rescue as a puppy and is now celebrating his first birthday.

It is always so special to see one of our rescue puppies grow into a happy, loved, and cherished dog in their new home. Teddy’s birthday is a lovely reminder of why rescue matters so much — every puppy deserves the chance to be safe, adored, and part of a family.

From his early days with us at NSWAR to this wonderful milestone, Teddy’s journey is one we are so proud to have been part of. Seeing him thriving and celebrating such a happy day fills our hearts.

Sweet little Charley had her spey surgery done today and is now tucked up resting like the tiny princess she is.

She has been very brave and is being given plenty of cuddles and comfort while she recovers.

In 7–10 days, Charley should be ready to begin the next chapter of her life and find a wonderful home on petrescue.

** Charley needs a new home and will be advertised on Petrescue next week **
