🐾The Blue Mountains Animal Care Centre (BMACC) is open, with Council taking over the former RSPCA Mort Street shelter today! 🎉
✅Services are being rolled out in stages.
Council’s focus for the first month is on getting the new centre up and running, while continuing to provide a best practice pound for stray animals. 🐶🐱
‼️The official opening of the centre is expected in August and when fully operational, it will provide the community with a facility for the rehoming of cats and dogs.
Council has been meeting with a reference group of volunteers about the newly formed centre. We thank volunteers for their continued support 🙏🏻🙏🏻
