End of year updates on the paddock ponies. The girls are loving the dam paddock in our heatwave conditions in NSW. No clean cobs this time of year, all efforts are put towards keeping cool, and muddy 😆 always with our noses in the grass...

He’s had another growth spurt over summer and stands approx. 13.3hh. Thinking this will be the year he starts to fill out and develop all his big boy muscles. Although he is still a big sooky youngster with the best cool dude attitude you could ever ask for 😎
One day I’ll be able to take a photo with his eyes fully open and him showing some interest in the world around him. He only shows off when I don’t have my phone with me 🙄 I swear he knows it.

And the exciting new addition to my little herd, Western Star Tommy Girl has settled in well after arriving home a week ago. She has discovered the dam, found the nice dirt patches to roll in and made friends with everyone on the farm. Tommy Girl and Treasure were born only days apart, although Tommy has a clear height advantage of a couple of inches already 😉
Looking forward to watching her grow and develop.

A future girlfriend for WM Truth Seeker, Tommy Girl is a Cremello tobiano (Tt) carrying both an agouti and silver gene. In the Wishlist will be some palomino, buckskin and even silver buckskin babies in years to come. A chance for some solid coloured foals will be a welcome bonus as well since my other mare and filly are TT. It’s going to be so hard to be patient and wait!

She is such a sweetheart, another pocket pet, and loves her scratches. Thank you Rachel Ezzey for trusting me to take care of your precious fur baby 💜

Little Miss Treasure update. Now 13 months old, shown in her unwashed paddock clothes and still holding a mass of feather after a hot and humid summer. So much like her beautiful mother WM Breanna (pictured with her). Love this little pocket pony.
