Update: we would like to thank everyone for their well wishes, thoughts and prayers for Colonel, unfortunately this lovely old man passed away in his sleep early hours of this morning, we take a little bit of solace in knowing that he passed peacefully being comfortable, warm, and safe out of the elements and off the streets.

Hey everyone, one of our carers picked up this lovely old boy this arvo at the kfc near Strathfield.
We have nicknamed him Colonel.
He is currently at Fairfield road vet hospital, he has severe heart disease and his entire body is full of fluid, his condition is not good we are asking everyone to keep him in your thoughts and prayers and hopefully he will get through the night.
We have also spoken to the ladies that feed him and are keeping them up to date in regards to his condition.

Hi there
Thank you so much for talking to me about Prince.
So a little bit about him: he’s affectionate and friendly and he loves people. He would sit with his human all day if he could. He loves going out for a daily walk. He enjoys catching a ball and chewing. He loves his food too. He does get itchy in spring/summer but I’ve been told that is common for staffies. We’re trialling how he goes with a fish based diet as grains seem to cause a reaction.
Prince is ok with some dogs but not all. I would suggest he’d be best with someone with staffy experience. Someone who could give him the love and attention he need. Prince was our sons dog and although we love him he is just way too big a dog for us.
He is fully vetted and up to date with vaccinations and parasite control, a few of our carers have met Prince and said he’s a sweet loving boy.
He’s house trained and knows basic commands.

UPDATE
Unfortunately although we had had so many people come forward we didn’t find this lovely girls humans.

Due to the severity of her spinal injuries the vets at Fairfield rd vet have made the decision together to help her cross the rainbow bridge, not an easy decision to make and one that wasn’t made lightly.

We are looking for the owners of this lovely ragdoll, not microchipped, this cat has been badly bitten by a dog and is currently being cared for and medicated and is in a stable condition while we try to find her owner. She has sustained severe injuries on her back and appears to be paralysed…

Baby Beefcake is currently 7 months old. He’s a very handsome Chocolate tri British Bulldog.

Beefcake is a big solid hunka chunka who is super sweet and so well natured, he absolutely loves people, cuddles, food and sleep… Beefcake also love a good dance with his people and this little man sure does have some serious jiggle when he wiggles!

Beefcake is super socialized he has grown up with dogs cats and rabbits and love’s absolutely everyone.

⭐️⭐️ FOSTER CARERS OR FOSTER TO ADOPT CARERS NEEDED⭐️⭐️

🌟Update - BoBo has been adopted, thank you to everyone who offered to help 🌟

We have a few dogs in CARE at the moment that are in need of a foster carer or a foster to adopt carer…
Canberra to Hunter Region and all areas in between.

BoBo is a 10-11 year old Maltese x Shihtzu he is very timid and a little bit of an anxious boy… He absolutely loves people and cuddles and would suit a quite place where he can just relax and enjoy himself. He gets along fine with cats but is a little picky who he chooses as a doggo friend.

Kahlua, Brandy and Whiskey are about 6 months old amstaffy girls, they are needing a foster carer or foster to adopt carer each. These girls have personality+ they are super loving, friendly, playful and sweet. They just want and need someone to help them flourish into beautiful doggos. They need some work on their socialisation skills as they didn’t have the best start to life and came into care scared and scarred with wounds from other dogs. These girls just need some time sent on them and would be perfect for any family big or small.

🆘 🐾We at CARE are reaching out to all our fellow animal lovers. WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!🐾🆘

We are a self funded animal rescue, we are not a charity and all we do is paid out of our own pockets. Our vet bill is phenomenal and over the last few months has ballooned massively, partly due to 3 cats with severely broken legs, a few eye removals and some that just desperately needed vet care that we couldn’t in good conscience turn away.

1st we had Trip and Ballzy they were 2 colony cats that within 1 week of each other both had 1 back leg badly broken and both in 2 places. And YES their injuries were caused by humans intentionally not by accident. Both are recovering well and they’re now staying with Kristy their feeder. Trip ended up having to have his leg plated and screwed, Ballzy’s leg was able to be pinned and wired.

UPDATE: we missed adding Sterling photos so have now updated.

2nd came Sterling, a gorgeous super friendly little 6-7 week old kitten, his back leg was also very badly broken and at his age and size he underwent a cross pinning surgery with our amazing vets. We don’t know how his leg was broken but are hoping it was caused by an accident.

Today we picked up Lily a 13ish year old girl with a horrible wound on her neck and some very painful ulcers on the roof or her mouth and tongue, she had a full check up, bloods taken and medication started while we wait for the results. Please everyone keep this old girl in your thoughts and🤞🏻it’s not the C word.

These are just a few that have come in, there have been so many more, and are still so many out there that need help.

So we are reaching out to you all for some very much needed help, We know this is a hard time for everyone financially but if you could spare anything at all we would greatly appreciate it.
Please help us to continue getting these animals the help, treatments and care that they so desperately need. Please note that we cannot give receipts and donations are not tax deductible.
