💜Meet Justin our newest vet who joined the team in 2026 after graduating from Sydney University in 2025. Justin has particular interests in ophthalmology, surgery and endocrine disease. He has also pursued further studies in Fear-Free practices and is passionate about delivering an even calmer, lower stress experience for pets in our clinic.
Justin owns a very enthusiastic and energetic kelpie. Great to have you on the team Justin👏.

A message to all cat owners from Dr Lesa, Senior Vet at Chatswood Vet Clinic.💜
Dr Lesa explains that cats are very good at hiding signs of pain ❤️‍🩹 and illness that’s why it’s so important that if you notice small changes in their behaviours or just feel your cat is not quite themselves that you book in for a vet health check. We often don’t see cats especially until their illnesses are quite advanced so please be vigilant. Just like humans older pets are also susceptible to a range of conditions. We are running a seniors promotion for pets over the age of 7 so if you are wanting to bring your cat in and it’s elderly please ask our team about this offer.

💜This lovely senior cat called Cookie 🍪 saw Dr Lesa originally with quite a large lump on her tongue. She was scheduled for surgery which occurred a couple of weeks later at which time miraculously the lump had disappeared. Dr Lesa explained that it may have been caused originally by a trauma injury. As we had her already sedated we also gave her full X-rays and an ultrasound maximising her anaesthetic and making sure all was well with Cookie. It’s a great idea if your pet is having surgery to take full advantage of an anaesthetic to undertake any additional procedures and explorations.
