Celebrating the success of these accomplished teams of teenage dogs and their humans in our Manners Class across our venues!
Having an adolescent dog can be challenging - they can be more independent and with that, ‘lose’ their hearing 😜, regress in some of their skills from puppyhood and you may be forgiven, in thinking they’re pushing the boundaries! All while their brain undergoes major reconstruction 😳
Understanding their next developmental stage, using management, continuing their training and socialisation is key to having both ends of the leash have an easier time through this tricky period.
So if you have an adolescent dog who needs you to help them navigate this stage, contact us and we can help!

We are delighted to welcome all our new puppy families and be a part of their training journey!
It has been pretty difficult to not want to steal these little cuties 😍😍
These puppies all very sweetly posed for their selfie in their First Day At School moment 😊

A long delay in posting this!

Congratulations to our wonderful families who worked with their teenage hounds in our Manners class course!
There was excitability, exuberance, high energy but there was calmness, polite leash manners, settling, chilling (at a cafe for some of our daytime courses) and all round improvement!
Loved the enthusiasm from both the dogs and their humans. Great questions, wanting to know the Why’s, the How’s etc
So lucky to be a part of your training journey - THANK YOU! 🙏🏻

Our recent proud puppy families graduating from their Puppy Class course!
What an absolute delight seeing these puppies grow in confidence, skills, patience, finding their ‘off-switch’ button!!
Some started a little tentatively, some had no shell to speak of 😉🙃, some figured out VERY quickly that it pays to sit patiently in front of the teacher 😜
Super proud of all our families for putting in the hard work, keen to teach their puppies, having patience in training their little ones and having fun while doing it all!

Meet Theo!
A welcomed new addition to a young family. His family reached out wanting assistance to get a few things covered, having just brought him home 🏡

We focused on a number of areas; such as
✅ Puppy proofing the home
✅ Toilet Training
✅ Puppy biting & Chewing! 🦷
✅ Formulating a plan of management, which in turn, helps in so many other areas in family life!
✅ Crate & Playpen training and the benefits of this
✅ Taking advantage of early, proper, good SOCIALISATION to the environment, not just puppy-to-puppy play

Puppy heaven! 🥰🫶🤗
A few more puppies and their awesome families joining Positive Puppies classes across our various locations this week.
Some of these puppies have returned from our Christmas break and some having their first day at school ☺️
Pretty clever pups, learning not only useful cues, but also that the world outside their home can be big but not scary!
Welcoming June, Frankie, Pippin, Vergil, Milla and Ziggy.

We have an open enrolment system which means you and your puppy are not waiting for our 6 week Puppy Class to finish to join a new class! Time is precious with these young puppies and getting in early to take advantage of their early learning critical phase is highly recommended!

Tonight was our very first class for 2026!
We welcomed 3 new puppies and their families in Puppy Class at Pennant Hills vet hospital.

The pups First Day At School ☺️
These gorgeous, funny, sweet, curious, excitable pups are well on their way at learning life skills to best prepare them for this human world!

Some of the skills we introduced tonight were
- name recognition/ engagement/ focus
- basic cues such as Sit, Drop, puppy push ups
- puppy handling so that these pups can learn to be okay with vet visits, grooming, treatments performed at home and at the vet and groomers. So important as these little ones get A LOT of handling in the first couple of months with all their booster vaccines administered! And that’s not including visits or hospitalisation for any illness/ accident etc that they may experience.
- strategies and guidance for success in toilet training
- helping families with their pup’s chewing/ playful biting
- playtime; an opportunity to learn good social skills when it comes to interacting with other puppies, teaching owners about body language and behaviour
- ways to manage/ decrease unwanted behaviours and on the flip side, ways to increase the occurrence of wanted behaviours! 👍🏻
It was a big night, a fun start on their training journey 😁

Congratulations to our wonderful puppy families, celebrating their success with teaching their puppies to best prepare them for this human world, a greater understanding of how their puppy could view this world, all while having fun!

What a super fun night we had with these clever cuties! Competitions were held like
Musical Sits
A Trick Competition with an elimination round. Congratulations to little Mia who won!
An Agility Course was also set up

Some of these clever pups are just 16 weeks of age! They all graduated from with their awesome trainer and got to put their skills to the test last night.
Very committed pawrents, coming out braving the heavy rain downpour.
Looking forward to seeing these pup stars in Manners Class to further challenge them and help them with ADOLESCENCE 😳😉😁
