♻️Sustainable food for thought.
There are many reasons to use less plastic, including:
Environmental impact: Plastic waste can persist in the environment for centuries, and can harm marine and terrestrial biodiversity. Plastic waste can also contribute to climate change by increasing greenhouse gas emissions.
Human health: Microplastics can enter the human body through inhalation and absorption, and accumulate in organs. Plastics also contain chemicals that can enter the body and are linked to health concerns.
Food and water safety: Plastic pollution can contaminate the food supply.
Economic impact: Plastic waste can burden economic activities.
Social injustice: Communities on the frontlines of plastic production and waste are disproportionately affected by plastic pollution.
Toxic chemicals: Plastics contain over 4,000 toxic chemicals that are considered highly hazardous to the environment.
Here are some things you can do to reduce your use of plastic: Purchase items secondhand, Borrow items before you buy them, and Support policy changes at the local and international levels.
The United Nations is developing a legally binding agreement to address plastic pollution, with a goal of ending it by the end of 2024.
Let's all use less plastics. Recycle and reuse and above all let's start using sustainable products. 🟢🌏💚♻️

Size = Base when closed 25cm or 10inches, Height = 15cm or 6inches and when fully spread out 50cm or 20inches. Please note some dimension difference can occur as this is a hand produced product but not by much.
