Shay’s Dog grooming is seeking a casual experienced pet groomer to join our
home based salon in Glenmore park,NSW.

Job summary:
* Looking for a candidate available to work:
* Monday: 9-5
* Saturday: 7-3
* 1 year of relevant work experience required for this role.
* Hourly rate will depend on experience.

We pride ourselves on quality work and amazing customer service.

We offer style cuts, standard full groom, mini groom, wash & Blow dry, teeth brushing, a**l glands and ear plucking for dogs of all sizes.

You will have:
* At least 1 year experience providing grooming services within a dog grooming salon.
* Dog handling skills - able to handle a diverse range of dogs including various breeds, sizes and ages.
* Take pride in maintaining a high standard of personal and salon presentation
* Strong customer service
* Be resourceful and happy to work independently
* A willingness to learn
* Comfortable with working at a home based salon
* A genuine love for dogs
* Ensuring that all pets are safe during the grooming process.
* Grooming and styling pets according to pet owners instructions or standard grooming styles
* General grooming responsibilities such as but not limited to dematting/detangling hair, bathing and drying, nail trims, ear cleans.
* Identifying health issues in pets, such as ear infections, skin conditions, or tooth decay, and informing pet owners of these observations
* Frequent cleaning and upkeep of work station. (Vacuuming & Mopping)
* Daily administration such as answering grooming enquiries through email, phone, record keeping, making bookings.
