If your pet is slowing down think of having a check up. Poor Rory has elbow arthritis. Now we know he is on a course of cartrophen and responding so well. We prefer catrophen initially vs other meds as it has a positive effect on the joint

Frankie came in with a bone lodged in his back teeth. Luckily for Frankie his mum quickly brought him into MJ VET. Samantha jumped into action by dislodging and removing the bone from Frankie’s mouth

Rufus had some gingivitis and tartar on examination , but we were not expecting any extractions. Until we did xrays to see below the gumline.

There was dental bone loss which can become loose and even painful to eat.

Owners mentioned he was so much happier a few days post extraction so it must have been bothering him.
