There’s no denying that ultra-processed foods, often marketed as “convenience foods”, are convenient. But convenience doesn’t always equal nourishment.
It’s worth pausing to ask why so many of us feel too busy to cook simple meals from whole, real ingredients. Food isn’t just fuel; it’s a daily opportunity to care for ourselves.
As the saying goes, if we don’t make time for our wellness, we’ll eventually have to make time for our illness. Choosing fresh, whole foods is one small but powerful way we can invest in our health.
Mass-produced bread, protein bars, processed meats, fast food, ready meals, soft drinks, instant noodles and breakfast cereals are increasing the risk of illness and death.
