Happy belated Birthday to this one 🎉 he turned 19 on the 1st November and is the sweetest and most gentle cat I know!

One of his favourite things to do is to be groomed with his special hairbrush, he’s obsessed and can’t get enough of scratching it along his jaw all day long! 🐱 I make sure we have a grooming session every time I look after him on my drop in visits!

💙 Meet Ted 💙
This handsome boy used to be an ex racing Greyhound until he was rescued, he was adopted just over 6 months ago & new his pawrents have done an amazing job helping him adjust to his new life.

✨ All of these were a first for this boy ✨
- Feeling grass under his paws for the 1st time
- Wearing a leash
- Love 💖
- A warm bed to sleep in every night
- Freedom to be himself
Most importantly being saved from the cruel life of racing & given the opportunity to live out the rest of his precious life!

I've had the pleasure of looking after him many times, he's such an intelligent, sweet & affectionate dog who is just a joy to be around!

Ted here wants to raise awareness about racing greyhounds. Please share this post to help support the ending of an industry where thousands of greyhounds are abused, neglected & killed just because they aren’t 'good enough', they've lost money or they’ve been injured during racing, they loose their basic rights to live, who made us in charge of who lives and who dies?!

WHAT YOU CAN DO
1. Boycott the animal entertainment industry
2. Leaflet at a local track
3. Lobby for a ban (whether there are currently dog tracks or not)
4. Write letters to the editor opposing greyhound racing (DM me for more information and even an example letter to copy, paste and send)
