LEARN TO GROW YOUR OWN RABBIT AND GUINEA PIG FOOD

The sun is shining, plants are thriving and flowers are out in full display!

Our 'Growing Rabbit Food' talk this Sunday is perfect for any rabbit or guinea pig owners looks for easy, cheap and minimal effort ways to grown their own nutritious and yummy pet food.

We will learn how to identify and use rabbit safe weeds, look at commonly passed over easy grow plants, trees, veggies and herbs that your bunnies will love, ways to partner with local gardeners and community gardens to harvest bunny food from them if you don't have your own garden, rabbit safe flowers and how to dry them, and pesticide and chemical free ways to fertilise and protect your precious crops once you get them going.

We manage to grow enough greens to feed up to 15 rabbits and guinea pigs every single day of the year while - only spending 1-2hrs of work on the rabbit garden each fortnight. Even in the peak of summer, we still have leftovers for us! We can't wait to show you how to do it too.

(Most rabbit safe food and flowers are good for humans too, so non rabbit slaves are also welcome to attend and pick up some salad growing tips for themselves as well😉 )

HELP NEEDED: temporary 1 week foster care.

Can anyone foster these cuties until next week?
Stevie and Salem are our current sponsor bunnies for Under the Willow Tree Rescue Inc., but unfortunately I've come down very unwell and urgently need to find them a new foster home.

We have a foster carer lined up but they can't start until next week, so if anyone can look after them until then that would be such a huge help!
We can provide all food: pellets, chaff, hay and greens, and they have their own carry case and toys. We can also loan a litter tray, food bowls, play pen ect if needed.
Would need to pick up from swan view.

Exciting treat news - we've been out of stock for a while as our usual treat maker is taking a break, but we will have yummy chaff and treats in stock again soon from the wonderful Under the Willow Tree Rescue! All sale money will go directly back to the rescue.

While we pride ourselves on keeping our prices as affordable as possible, with the current cost of living crisis we unfortunately have to raise our prices.
All existing bookings or pending enquiries will still be under the old rates, the new rates only apply to bookings made from today onwards.

We understand that pet ownership is already expensive and don't wish to increase hardship to anyone already struggling, so along with the price change we are introducing a discount for anyone with a concession or pension card. Discounts for long bookings (over 30 days) and FIFO bookings also still apply.

We are also happy to do payment plans if you are in a difficult position - just let us know, and we will do our best to help out.

Our garden is always available for anyone to take home a bag or two of greens as well (regardless of if you have a booking with us or not!), so if anyone needs some extra food for their furry ones send us a message.
One of the ways we keep our costs low is by growing all the fresh food for our boarders ourselves, but lately we've been producing far more than we can use so we're always happy to share! 💜

Fifo bunny Paul has been staying with us week on, week off for over a year now! She has her own special box, blanket, hay feeder and veranda attachment for the castles that we keep separate just for her.
Her box has seen better days but she loves it so much we just can't throw it out 🤣

I recon she sleeps so soundly cus she knows she's queen of this house, as well as queen back home 😁
