If you are wondering when to spay / neuter / fix your female lab puppy. There seems to be varying advice from vets from before first season to 2-3 years. This study looked at results per breed, Labradors are recommended from 11monrhso of age .

Our vet directed us to this large study of outcomes of spaying at different ages, varying by breed.

There’s a section in the results on Labradors which ends “For females, given the increased risks of joint disorders with spaying through 11 months of age, the suggested guideline is delaying spaying until beyond a year of age.”

Who isn't surprised the Labrador tested well for reading human expressions but bombed in spatial awareness.... If you haven't been bowled over by your Lab at least once, I doubt it's a Lab !! ❤️

Momos Testimony to the healing power of Jesus :

Momo is my sons best girl, 3 year old Lab belonging to my 13 year old son. We went away for five days and had someone watch our dogs and house sit. When we came back we noticed Momo was not well. My husband found an empty carton of the blue rat baits , so we took her to the vets. They confirmed she had eaten a lot of rat bait. The Vit K they gave her had no effect and an hour later we drove 1.5hr to animal hospital in Wollongong , they kept her over night, rang me on the morning and said the the Vit K wasn't working, she'd need a transition and that they would rather send her to Sydney best equipped animal hospital . so my son and I drove 2 hours into Sydney . When we got there she was in with the vets . They pulled me aside and said that she was not taking to the vit K. She would likely bleed out . Her only chance was plasma and blood transfusion . They estimated up to $20k which we could not afford . So we agree to give her a day and see how she took . They were not positive X

I spoke to my mentor and brother in Christ who told sent me a voice message prayer . He told me to go to her and play the voice prayer over her body and instructed me what Bible verse to read to her. I asked reception if we could see her and was told no she was with the vets . I spoke to my mentor who told me how important it was for us to play the prayer over Momo. So
I went back to the receptionist and said we would like to prayer for Momo and could we please go in and see her. She looked shocked but went and asked and came back and said yes. So they took us in. Momo was on an operating table all tubed up. My son and I laid hands on her, played the prayer and I read the Bible verse to her . We cried and then left.

Three days later, we picked her up and took her home with only a $6k bill. One month later her blood tests were normal . I truly believe that Jesus saved our girl, and kept the bill with in our means, and that one of the staff in the surgery needed to hear that prayer and witness the miracle Jesus performed .

I am sure she is not the only dog Jesus has performed miracles for. I'd love to hear other testimonies from your pooches of the love of Jesus ❤️🙏

DID YOU KNOW??

When there is a swimmer in peril, a surf lifesaver and dog will either approach from the beach or launch themselves out of a boat to help. Sometimes a team is even dropped from a helicopter. There are approximately 300 canines performing this type of action off the Italian and Croatian coast.
