Lady of leisure, Lola, had her regular dental treatment with us yesterday. Her treatment included;

🦷 Dental x-rays, above and below the gumline. To ensure the entire tooth anatomy was captured and able to be assessed.
🦷 Probing to assess the health of the gums and surrounding tissues.
🦷Charting to create a comprehensive record of the patient's oral health, documenting existing conditions, treatments, and progress.
🦷Scale & Polish to comprehensively remove surface stains, plaque build-up, and tartar deposits from teeth, leaving them smooth and polished.
🦷Kisses and snuggles to make sure she knows just how cute and loved she is 💕🐶

With her yearly treatments, Lola keeps her teeth in tip-top shape and steers clear of the painful side effects of dental disease—like daily discomfort and the need for extractions.

Say hello to the wonderful Dr Jasmin Pender, one of our talented veterinarians here at Bli Bli Vet!

Dr Jasmin brings compassion, skill, and a deep love for animals to every patient she treats. Her favourite surgery is a cystotomy—a delicate procedure that helps pets with bladder stones get back to feeling their best.

Outside of work, Dr Jasmin is a proud pet mum to three rescue cats (including one very special kitty with a disability) and a gorgeous Japanese Spitz. Her heart for animals truly shines in everything she does.

When she’s not at the clinic, you might find her singing along to her favourite musicals—she’s got a real passion for everything theatre related (and yes, we’ve tried to get her to sing at staff parties!).

We’re so lucky to have Dr Jasmin on the team. Be sure to say hi when you see her around! 👋🐾

Winter Pet Care: Dos and Don'ts

✅ Do;
Keep them warm and dry.
Ensure they have a warm bed and shelter out of the wind if they are outside.
If they will tolerate it, find a comfy coat for your pet.

❌Don't;
Leave pets outside in the cold.
Skip grooming.
Assume all pets handle cold the same.

If your pet is slowing up during the winter or seems uncomfortable, book in for an arthritis check. They are lots of options to help arthritic pets available.
