🚨 URGENT FUNDRAISING APPEAL – WE CAN’T WAIT ANY LONGER 🚨

Hi everyone,

This is Miranda, founder of the rescue.

The fires across Victoria have been absolutely heartbreaking. Watching families lose everything, wildlife burned and displaced, and communities shattered has left us all feeling helpless and devastated.

Out of respect, we delayed asking for help, because it felt wrong to ask while so many were suffering such unimaginable loss.

But tonight, I have to be honest we cannot delay any longer.

In just the last few weeks, the animals have not stopped coming:

🐾 Stitch came into care with her 1-week-old kittens, tiny, helpless, and already fighting for survival, one suffering from a tick at just days old.
🐾 So many animals were surrendered before and after Christmas, over 50 and counting. Truly heartbreaking and as you can imagine, the costs have sky rocketed, urgency vet care is not cheap. needing immediate care.
🐾 Alice now needs urgent dental work that cannot be pushed back.
🐾 And a case that will haunt me forever: a kitten found on the streets, feral and alone, with his insides coming out. That baby needed emergency surgery immediately just to have a chance at life.

Every one of these animals needed help right then and we said yes.

But the cost of saying yes is crushing us.

We are facing overwhelming vet bills, and with payments due by morning, we are running out of time.

We need to raise $10,000 by morning. It’s urgent. It’s crucial and to be honest we have no choice

Meet Angel — a gorgeous classy little lady with a heart of gold 💛

Angel is an 11-month-old black tabby with a big personality, a bigger heart, and a story that will stay with you for ever .

Even though she is only a baby herself, Angel has already seen far more than any cat ever should.
She was dumped and abandoned near a busy road, and came into care skinny, starving, and heavily pregnant.

Just a couple of days after arriving somewhere safe, this brave girl gave birth to 4 beautiful babies.
Angel has now lovingly weaned her little ones and it’s finally her turn to be cared for and find her forever home 🏡

And what a gorgeous , stunning girl she is.

Angel is the kind of girl who makes a house feel like a home.
She’s affectionate, social, and endlessly loving — and she honestly doesn’t know how to stop purring.

If Angel had it her way, she’d be right beside you morning, noon, and night…
keeping you company while you watch a movie, potter around the house, or enjoy a late-night hot chocolate. She’ll happily follow you from room to room, just to be near her favorite person. ♥️

Her carer describes her coat as so soft it feels like an expensive pillow, and there’s something extra special about her look too — we suspect Angel may have a little hint of the popular/ playful Maine C**n tucked in there.

While her size doesn’t quite resemble Maine C**n, her beautiful nature, quirky little antics, gorgeous lions mane and that special extra fluffy tail definitely suggest there’s a bit of MC magic in her.

Angel would suit almost any home.
She’s the kind of friendly, adaptable girl who could thrive with:

A family with little kids or big kids

Other cats or pets (with sensible introductions)
