I had such a great day last Thursday attending the Masterson Method advanced block.

It was wonderful to meet the next group of people learning to share this method with our equine partners.

Well done to everyone for a fantastic job in completing the advanced block. I look forward to seeing more of you, and many happy horses, in the future.

Always a pleasure spending time with one of my favourites ❤️

Another Masterson Method session, helping him maintain his physical comfort, mobility and overall wellbeing.

Bodywork isn't always about addressing an issue. Sometimes it's about maintaining how well a horse is feeling and moving, and giving their body the opportunity to release tension before it becomes a bigger problem.

It’s about staying curious, noticing those little niggles as they arise and addressing them early, before they have the chance to develop into something more significant, potentially even lameness.

This guy is very fortunate to have an owner who is so committed to his wellbeing, with regular bodywork and other treatments forming part of her ongoing approach to keeping him feeling his best!!

The many faces of Skye 🐴

Skye is an OTTB who has recently come to us. He’s a big, gorgeous, sensitive guy who seems to carry plenty of nerves and adrenaline. These photos were taken after just a few minutes of the Bladder Meridian technique. It’s such a simple technique, but I never underestimate what it can offer a horse.

I’m looking forward to seeing how Skye responds to more of the Masterson Method over the coming weeks. For now, he's having plenty of time and space to settle, without too much being asked of him. Welcome Skye.

A few photos from our Agistee Appreciation Clinic 🐴

We wanted to do something for the people who make 𝗗𝘂𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸 - 𝗛𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 & 𝗔𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 such a lovely place to be.

Thank you to our agistees for being such a great group of people to have around. It is important to us to create a supportive, enjoyable horse community - and you've helped to make it exactly that!

It was a relaxed day spent learning, trying things out and enjoying time with the horses. We’re grateful you’re here.

A huge thank you to Cam at Misty Morning Saddles for creating my beautiful new saddle. 🤎

It's not often these days that you come across this level of craftsmanship. Every detail has been so thoughtfully finished, and the quality is simply outstanding.

You can tell it's been made by someone who genuinely takes pride in their work.

I couldn't be happier with the end result. Thank you for your time, skill and care - it really shows. I just love it.

Just a few of the faces (Simon not included!!! 😂) of those I’ve been fortunate enough to work with in sharing the Masterson Method.

Every horse has their own story to tell, and it’s such a privilege to help them find a little more comfort, softness and ease in their bodies.

And look at the fun we have!!

𝗛𝗢𝗥𝗦𝗘 𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚

Whether you're looking to build confidence, improve softness and responsiveness, work through specific goals/challenges, or provide your horse with a period of focused education, our onsite training offers a supportive environment where horses can learn and develop.

At Simon Fielder Horsemanship, every horse is approached as an individual. We take the time to understand how each horse thinks, learns and responds, creating a training program tailored to their unique needs, personality and your goals.

Our focus is about building understanding, confidence and connection so that horses become willing, thoughtful partners both on the ground and under saddle.

Training programs may be suitable for, for example:

✨ Young horses requiring solid foundations
✨ Horses returning to work
✨ Confidence-building and emotional development
✨ Retraining and troubleshooting
✨ Float loading challenges
✨ Further education on the ground and under saddle
✨ Performance horse development and fine tuning
✨ Owners seeking support with specific training goals

Every horse receives an individualised training plan, regular handling, and the time needed to progress at a pace that supports genuine understanding and long-term success.

Owners will receive regular updates on their horse's progress.

If you'd like to discuss whether onsite training is the right fit for your horse, we'd love to hear from you.
