Found my self travelling to Sippy Downs a couple of nights ago on a standard snake call, on my way I got a call from the client saying that the snake that was hiding behind a picture had just shed it skin but the skin had legs .... Turns out the guest hiding behind the painting was a robust velvet gecko, one of the native geckos that can be found around the sunny coast. I was still very excited to catch this guy and find a him a new home. Make sure you keep an eye out for any reptile friends trying to get out if the rain.

I was pretty excited to catch this little guy this morning. My first callout for a yellow faced whip snake, they are mildy venomous and very quick while I was trying to catch him!! Lucky the client and snake were having a staring competition until I made my way to ningi. This story is a bit of a sad one, sneaking in last night to a chicken pen at Elimbah this large carpet python managed to nab one of the families ducks 😔 the family did the right thing by calling me and getting the rest of the animals to safety, Unfortunately leaving Donald a lonely duck. Double trouble in Woodford today. Received a call up this morning to relocate these two six foot pythons from the roof of an old shed. These guys had been hanging around the house for a few years but unfortunately have gotten big enough to start snacking on the chickens!

Found hiding out inside right next to the cat food , the client managed to place a large glass bowl over him before the cat came in for dinner ready for me to come and get him. This little fella manage to sneak is way into the budgie cage over night for a little spot of dinner :( he was small enough to squeeze in through the bars but leaving was a bit more difficult with a huge bulge in his belly. Another little carpet tonight. My client tonight Roz loved snakes but needed to get to the electrical box where he was sitting. She was hoping to see this little guy in the future so we still let him go in the back of her yard and then got the power back on. Roz did the right thing in calling a professional to move the snake but it was refreshing to see someone who still wanted to keep them around. Well done mate !!

This stunning little carpet python was the gate keeper to a house in mooloolah late this afternoon. Noticed as a lady went to reverse out of her driveway she was stuck in her car out of fear, but lucky had her phone with her. Just a phone call away I got there as quick as I could to find this little fella a new home. He is now the proud owner of a water front property at ewan maddock dam 😃

A late night trip sent me out to wamuran to relocate this monster of a carpet. As you can see he was as thick as my arm and stood taller then me. He was found in a client's tree waiting in ambush for unsuspecting fruit bats. It was decided for the welfare of her little puppy that he might need to find a new home. This big fella was giving the client a bit of trouble. Knocking everything off the work benches every night in the attempt to find a nice comfort spot apperently become to much when I got the call to relocate this cracken carpet today.
