Remember Baxter? Our very first little puppy who was chosen to become a future PTSD dog. Baxter is one of Ruby and Reggie’s puppies. He is doing extremely well with his training … Here is what his family shared with us:

“Baxter is now 5 months old and 15kg plus. Thinking now more a standard groodle however he is amazing. Learns so fast. Already walks on slack lead, sits, comes, twirls shakes hands, stays and almost stops on his own when crossing road. He loves water and last week found a mud pond in backyard after rain and came in house with 4 black socks. With those eyes, how can you go mad at him. Didn’t know what we didn’t have or how much we could love a puppy until we got him. We know now why they are called Velcro dogs. He is always attached to one of us”

Do you know the signs of a paralysis tick? 🐾

🚨 Wobbly or weak back legs
🚨 A change in bark or meow
🚨 Coughing, gagging or vomiting
🚨 Laboured or noisy breathing
🚨 Trouble eating or swallowing

If you notice ANY of these, go to the vet immediately. Don’t wait to see if it gets better. Symptoms can worsen fast.

And did you know that if you don’t keep up with tick prevention, many pet insurers won’t cover tick paralysis treatment? Most policies require it to be given regularly, exactly as directed on the label.

Keep your dogs and cats protected, on time, every time (cat-specific products only for cats), and check them daily. 💛
