We do not operate a shelter facility but utilise our own foster care network and accessible veterinary service providers. Without donations we cannot rescue cats. We're looking for additional funds to top up our benevolent support account for emergency veterinary expenses being incurred by the adopters of rescue cats doing it tough. We recently provided financial support for a cat experiencing a blocked bladder that was admitted overnight to emergency vets in Melbourne.

The Alley Katz Australia Org. benevolent fund for adopted rescue cats can provide up to 50% relief for emergency veterinary expenses assessed on a case by case basis on application from the individual

Like many rescues, we are going through a period with low donations.

We are often the rescue of last resort before people surrender their animals to the pound or are exhausted from searching for help for a spicy, wild, or injured cat or kitten.

We do our best but we don't have a bottomless pit of money.

Thank you to the core of supporters that contribute regularly to cover our ever increasing vet bills, flea and worm and food expenses.
