Hi Everyone,

Just an update on the poultry as we haven't updated in a long time.

We breed Leghorn bantams in 28 varieties, plus we have a few project varieties on the go as well.

We also have Belgian d'Uccle, Belgian d'Anvers and Belgian de Watermaels.

In waterfowl we have Cayuga ducks, Aylesbury ducks, black Indian Runners, and Sebastopol geese.

We also have bronze, slate, and bourbon red Turkeys.

We will hopefully be able to get pics up of all the different colours for all of you to be able to look at before breeding season starts. For now, here's a quick pic of a bantam gold crele Leghorn rooster taken today. This fellow is only about 5 months old, but we're looking forward to seeing his chicks this coming season.

Exciting News! Squirrel Creek MyComanche is the first Australian Appaloosa to be registered with the International Coloured Appaloosa Association (ICAA).
The ICAA are a not-for-profit association which promote Appaloosa to Appaloosa breeding. Comanche is foundation registered with the ICAA, being 7/8 Appaloosa.

Wallowa Stud will be standing "Squirrel Creek MyComanche" at public stud next year. Comanche's genetic test results are listed on this page for anyone interested. He is 6 panel n/n, and LP/LP, which means that you will get a foal with colour when you breed to this boy!

Comanche's test results have started to come back from Practical Horse Genetics. He is n/n for HERDA, HYPP, PSSM1, GBED, IMM and MH. Also LP/LP(no surprises there 🙂 ). When we get the full results we will update.

Hello Everyone,

Just giving an update for anyone following this page. Due to work commitments, we no longer have show poultry.

With the Appaloosas, from this breeding season, we will be standing "Squirrel Creek MyComanche". Comanche is a snowcap chestnut Appaloosa, registered AAA, and APR2. Photos to come.

We are hoping to get Wallowa Misty Lena, Middle L Total Gossip and LV Montana Gold into foal, for some lovely 2021 foals.
