With the hot, dry weather comes grass seeds . . Small, sharp and pointy, designed by nature to burrow.
Dogs with long fur and floppy ears are particularly vulnerable to getting seeds between their toes, in their ears, eyes and skin.
Regular grooming helps to minimize the risk of grass seeds getting trapped, causing discomfort and possible infection.

So sad to hear this, with the current rental crisis, Dog Rescues and pounds are overflowing, turning dogs away and some being put down because they have nowhere to live.
