The team kicks off the new season of racing at Gawler today.
🐎Miss Artfire and Anna Jordsjo step out in a mares and fillies race over 1200. Its a strong race, but she's fit and well.
🐎Sam's Reward and Stacey Metcalfe head to the Class 1, 1500m. Hoping that he can produce a similar run to his last start at Gawler.

🦄🩸💊🩹🩺 POST SURGICAL/MEDICAL AGISTMENT 🦄🩸💊🩹🩺

This cracking little filly had a sequestrum expertly removed by Dr Todd at Morphetteville Equine before coming to us for her post operative care.

Her wonderful ownership group were at ease knowing that we work in with the vet/surgeon to provide the best possible, post operative or medical case care. Multiple bandage changes and medications later, we have a really good outcome. She is now off to the spelling paddock to finish her recovery before going back into training.

We have a good repour with most equine vets in SA, so if you need a little extra help with your equine 🦄 best friend, please don't hesitate to drop us a line!!

🐎 CELTIC BRUT 🐎 (Theo)

Theo was trained by Gary Boyce before retiring to Nikkita Lodge Equestrian Centre.

He had his first outing EVER today, attending freshmans show jumping, and we couldn't be prouder.

Theo stepped out like an old pro! While there were little baby green moments, he proved once again what beautiful, versatile horses thoroughbreds can be when they are correctly retrained to a discipline that suits not only their "type" but also their personality.

Couldn't be prouder of the time, effort, patience and understanding Amy has put into this horse. Its been a privilege to coach her along the way. Theo is her pride and joy and it shows. Onwards and upwards with this guy! Giddy up!!

The moment of a first time owner, meeting her first horse. I was excited to be able to offer Sammi this tried horse for a low entry cost. These horses, while no world beaters, give many people an opportunity, and the confidence to dip their toes into the world of horse racing and quickly get in on all the fun!!
This horse has provided this opportunity for a handful of new owners.

Home track. Second up for the stable today. Over a little further and Matt back in the saddle. I hope she shows the same improvement as first up last week at Oakbank. Most of you know that Amy rides for me, but how many of you knew that I also have another "home bred" asset??
Luke has always been a huge asset to my stable, both with the show horses, then pretraining the thoroughbreds and now I can utilise his talent on the track too!!
