HENDRA CASE CONFIRMED IN SOUTH EAST QUEENSLAND

A horse in South East Queensland has contracted Hendra virus and sadly died.

This is an important reminder to please ensure your horses, donkeys, or any other equids are up to date with their Hendra vaccinations.

Most veterinarians will no longer attend unvaccinated horses due to the significant risk.

Call us today on 4681 1523 to arrange vaccination and help protect your animals and your family.

Horse owners are encouraged to vaccinate their animals against the disease which can be fatal to both horses and, in rare cases, humans.

We are so excited to welcome Shelby back for prac work!

Shelby is now in her second year of Veterinary Science at JCU Townsville and is home on holidays. While she’s here, she will be spending two weeks learning with us.

We are very proud to see another Stanthorpe student pursuing a career in veterinary science and are thrilled to be part of her journey. 🐾❤

Did you know we offer a recycling program through our friends at Royal Canin? Return your empty bags and pouches - clean - and we will send them off to be recycled! The proceeds from this goes to Guide Dogs Australia and the RSPCA.

We are a bit late but we finally got photos! Congratulations to all the Rotary Pride of Workmanship Award winners! Rotary really made these people feel so special as they should, they clearly go above and beyond in so many aspects of their employment for their businesses. Of course OUR FAVOURITE IS BEN GREEN!! If you've ever been into our clinic, you would have met Ben and seen his infectious enthusiasm and willingness to please you all! He really does a fabulous job day in and day out for Stanthorpe Vet Care by caring for, helping, supporting, annoying, teaching and managing all the members of our team as well as our clients and of course our patients! thanks so much Ben, it is an award well deserved!
