It is with a heavy heart must announce the closure of Best Doggos.

For the past year I have been living with a chronic medical condition which has been getting increasingly worse. Despite my Doctor’s advice I have continued working out of both necessity and a genuine love of the work that I do with each pupper.

This week I was hospitalised because of my condition, and I now need to make my health a priority. With the support of those closest to me, I will be closing Best Doggos Grooming for the foreseeable future.

It has been a wonderful experience to interact with your doggos and with each of you. I hope I will get a chance to do so again one day, when my health improves.
Until then, I want to thank you for your support and patronage over the years. I hope i see everyone again soon.

I would highly recommend the following groomers. I have met every single one and seen their fantastic work. They share very similar values when it comes to putting your pups well-being first.

Due to personal changes Best Doggo will be immediately closing down the Baldivis location.
All booking for the next 2 weeks will be offered at the Stake Hill salon.
And as of June 1st will be moving to Lakelands as of June 1st.

While I apologise for such short notice it is an unavoidable thing.

Anyone booked for the Baldivis will be contacted and notified of the new address for their appointment.

For those that are unable to come to Stake Hill or Lakelands I will endeavour to compile a list of groomers local to Baldivis to refer them too.

Rest assured the prices, quality and compassion towards every pup will not be changing.

I hope to see many at the new Lakelands location, which is an established home salon. It is going to be much more suitable for winter.
It is also located right near Lakelands shopping center so you can do your shopping while your pooch gets pampered!

This is just reminder that just because a grooming tool is available to purchase publicly doesn’t mean it’s suitable to use without training.

Yesterday a fellow groomer seriously hurt her self with a dematter tool (similar to pic) despite being properly trained in its use.
This injury was severe enough that she required urgent medical attention.

Thankfully she will be fine and it was a freak accident. But for someone who is not trained with grooming tools these injuries are a much higher risk and could be more severe. A lack of training also puts the doggo at risk as well.

So please if your pup has a small matt that you are thinking about just ‘cutting out’ with scissors or any sharp grooming tool please stop and contact your groomer.
Save yourself a potential injury or vet bill and be safe. If it is just one small matt most groomers will happily take the 5mins to fix it safely for you.
