Important information 🐾

Purrfect Cat Grooming is an exclusive cat grooming service based in St Leonards, and we have over 8 years' experience grooming cats!!

Due to overwhelming demand, we are going to close our books to new clients for the time being.

We're moving to maintenance grooms rather than annual shave downs as we are committed to the health and wellbeing of our clients and their beautiful cats!!

So, we are also recommending to all of our regular clients (clients that we see at least 4 times a year) to book in advance, especially during the warmer months as it does get very busy!!
We will also be changing our days around. We are remaining part-time and by booking only, and from February 2025, we will be from Wednesday to Sunday.

As the weather is getting warmer I'm getting a lot of enquiries!
I'm starting to recommend book 1 or 2 bookings ahead so that your times are locked in and won't be disappointed!

Always a gentleman and well behaved 🐾

(Please note that we do not 'trim' or 'take a bit off' during a groom.
I don't and will never use scissors as cats move fast and can be unpredictable!)

So I'm not sure who wants to know this, but there's only 12 weeks until Christmas 😳😳

For any clients that will be due for their regular grooming booking, I suggest you book now as I'm getting fairly booked very quickly at the moment!

Regular grooming schedules are so important!

If left beyond the recommended time frame, there can be a build of 'stuck' hair as shown in the first 2 photos. This hair needs to come out but takes extra time under the dryer (which can be difficult if kitty isn't a fan of the dryer), and there can be lots of pulling to get it out.
Keep in mind that most cats only tolerate 30-60 mins of any type of grooming!
Most cats find this uncomfortable, as I'm sure it would be!

The last 2 photos show all the extra hair gone and a beautiful clean coat 😍

Deshedding bath and grooms will only be done on cats on a regular grooming schedule 📅
Make sure you book in advance, especially coming into the warmer and with the festive seaon coming 😉

What's hiding under your cats coat!?

Dead skin, dandruff, greasy skin!

This is why we encourage regular grooming as cats need help cleaning themselves properly, and a good bath and blow dry does exactly this when done on a regular basis 😀

A deshedding bath is generally recommended every 8-10 weeks to be effective 🐾
