Meet Katie 🐾

Katie joined Spring Creek Pet Boarding in February and has quickly become a huge asset to our team. She always comes in with a big smile, a can-do attitude, and a genuine love for the animals in our care. The dogs and cats absolutely adore her, and we’re very lucky to have her as part of the team! 💙

The happiest gorl in the dam 💦🐾
When Lucy first came to us, she was nervous and unsure—especially in the rain and kennel environment. Now, she’s a completely different dog… soaking up cuddles from staff and absolutely living for her dam walks 🤍
It’s a pretty special feeling being able to take a dog from unsure and stressed, to confident and settled during their stay. That’s what we aim for with every dog that comes through our gates.

We’re so grateful for the time we had with Little E.
It’s so rare to have a cute little fella come and visit you at work every day and make life a bit brighter — but we were lucky enough to have that with Eilean.
His time on this earth was short, but so meaningful.
He spent every waking moment as a happy little wagging Cocker Spaniel.
Miss you so much, little monster.

Life just isn't fair or often long enough...

But regardless of what little time you have with one another, doesn't take away the love and meaningfulness.

It is with a heavy heart that after all our battles to save our sole survivor cleft lip puppy - Auchallater Eilean he has been diagnosed with acute congenital kidney disease.

This is something I have suspected from a young age but I had to engage in 2 veterinarians before I could confirm it.

He has taught me so many lessons and reminded me of the cruel fact that when breeding dogs, our luck is in the hands of nature.

I feel connected and stay connected with every puppy I breed. Their successes are my successes.

Please bare with me if I am slow to reply during this time. Whilst Murdo and his family at Spring Creek Pet Boarding (who helped feed eilean every 2 hours whilst i had to work in the first 8 weeks) and I spend quality time with him.

We’re so greatful to have wonderful pets and owners coming to our boarding kennel. Makes waking up in the morning to see the wiggly tails and fluffy paws worth it!
