In conclusion, this study shows that the risk of cranial cruciate ligament disease in dogs is linked to how long they are exposed to natural s*x hormones, and the relationship isn’t simple or linear. The highest risk was seen when females were spayed before about 1054 days (just under 3 years) and males before about 805 days (a little over 2 years). These results may help define what counts as “early” spay or neuter when it comes to cranial cruciate ligament disease risk.

Veterinary reproduction specialists now recommend hormone-preserving sterilization: preventing unwanted litters & less risk of torn cruciates.

I apologise in advance but these guys took building the new dog runs very seriously but we broke it up with some play time. If the dogs get play time so do we. Outdoor time is everything to a dog. No dog should be deprived of a good old fashioned roll on some grass.
Ripped down old fencing, new safer mesh fencing, made the runs twice as long, put some plastic grass protectors underneath, repaved, new retic and new shade going over. With A direct run straight down to the pool. Thanks to “Ben There Laid That” and his crew. Couple weeks and she should be done. Then onto the next project. I promise we will get back to work after this short clown around.
No dogs witnessed this pawsome behaviour
