My Tanti.
The last time we attended Melbourne she was a Heifer at 20 months by memory (i could be a little off) At the moment she's very much in her Paddock Queen suit but this time next week we will be tootling around the show ring together again, this time with her own baby heifer in tow.

Its amazing the difference in personality even at just a couple weeks old. It's totally noticeable!
The front Heifer on the left, super sweet, soft and outgoing. She's curious and has her mum running after her all day 😂 its so funny!.
The little heifer on the right, currently more reserved and quiet, wants her distance and follows her mother's direction to a tee, doesn't put a hoof wrong.

Last night my Little got a bath aswell. She will be joining Letti at the local-ish show in a few weeks time.

I'm really impressed with how this little chickens grown into herself. Once I got the halter on her, she was an absolute dream to work with. We just need to work on the catch. For everything else She is so soft and buttery, easy to work with.
For those following along at home, Little is the Heifer i took to Stud Beef Handlers Camp last year. Photo for reference. I can't wait for their winter coats comes back, it's just the best!

Tonight I've been prepping some girls for a show at the end of the month.

This is Letti-
Letti Lady loves this life of luxury.

Letti is 10 this year, I decided that I'll bring the old duck out of retirement and take her for a day out at a local-ish show at the end of the month with Little (Uptown Girl). I'm not sure if she's ever had a bath but she took to it like a doll (it was 30+ degrees).

Job to do before shearing season ticked off ✅️

Yesterday was a big 12 hour round trip in the car inc stops, first stop to deliver 3 of my commercial honeys to their new home in Mornington (perfect home for them 🫶), then onto Willow Grove to pick up Tanti and Pryor from their extended date with some beautiful bulls, and home again by about midnight to let the girls off the trailer 🥱 we're all so happy to be at home today.

These little cows are the bom-diggity, I couldn't be happier with them. They take everything in their stride- nothing's too much of a drama.

Shout Out to Seymour Trailers for their brilliant service hiring me the big Stock Trailer. Such a handy local service and great quality trailers

Maizey our guardian loving her wild rabbit 🥰

As cute as they are, the numbers are starting to climb again- in turn that has a flow on effect taking food from all the other animals like the natives and livestock.

One thing I really dislike is waste and feeding other pests like foxes, so when we cull some rabbits the dogs eat super well and certainly don't complain about it 😍
