We are a small friendly and caring practice, catering for both large and small animals and wildlife. We opened in 1985 in a shop front on the highway ( where the saddlery shop is now), and moved into our present location in the early 1990s. The other night Dr Andrea was called out to deliver twin lambs as their mum was struggling. It all went well and the two lambs and mum are doing well!

Meet Ducky!

Ducky is a rescue dog from NSW who was seen at our Seville clinic, as he had a terrible injured back leg. It was beyond repair, but the team was able to amputate the leg to allow him to live pain free!

He is such a gorgeous pup, AND he is available for adoption through Miks Foster Dogs see comments for link.

Spring has sprung! 🌸 🍃
It has been a busy first week of spring!

Last weekend alone Dr Mike saw dogs, cats, a sheep, a pig, a horse, a goat, a guinea pig, a rabbit and a ferret!

To add to the list, the other vets have seen plenty of cattle, a donkey, a few birds, a kangaroo and even a fish!

We are so lucky to see the beautiful variety of the animal kingdom, and all of our staff are so excited to treat all creatures, great and small! 🥰

~ Patient of the Week! ~

Meet Junior! This hunky Doberman has had a tumour growing on his eyelid. You can barely see it, but despite its small size it can cause a bit of grief.

Dr Andrea and nursing team surgically removed the growth, and even found a second one! His eye will be a bit swollen for a few days, but once healed, he will look like his normal dashing self!

These eyelid tumours are called Meibomian gland cysts. They are benign, but can cause irritation of the eye, including inflammation and bleeding of the eyelid. Therefore, they are best to be removed before they get too big.

Our team has a busy few months ahead!

Did you know that we often support local pony clubs, sports clubs and schools at different events?

Whether it is being the vets on site for a horse competition, giving a talk on health topics for farmers, pet owners or riders or visiting local schools meeting young students, we are there! And this season is no different with several events booked in! 🎉

If you see us out and about make sure to come say hi! If you have an event coming up and would like to schedule a visit from one of our vets, don’t hesitate to let us know!

They will be vaccinated, microchipped and de-sexed by the time of adoption.
