It’s not just cushings that makes horses too hot at this time of year. Some breeds and even just some individual horses run hot. We have warmer days, but they’re still in winter coats. It’s absolutely not too late to clip. They will be far more comfortable and can appreciate these lovely sunny days.

I’ve set aside my horse competition dates for the rest of the year, which means I can now fill the rest of the time with dogs! I’ll book the same schedules unless you let me know that you need specific times/days, more frequent appointments during summer etc. If you’re going away for Christmas or need to time your groom for Christmas photos, please let me know! I’ll do extended hours through December with more availability during daylight savings but I still expect it to book up well in advance.
