Injury update.

Unfortunately my recovery has not gone as planned.

The plate and 7 screws have assisted my lower femur to heal well and I can weight bear on my leg.
Sadly, I cannot bend my knee any more than 50 degrees which means I cannot walk without lifting my hip every step to compensate.

Also means no riding as a cannot make even a 'dressage leg' position. 😔
Yes, I'm going insane not riding!

I'm booked for a second surgery in 2 weeks.
With a plan to remove scar tissue, remove another bone chip and manipulate the joint under anaesthetic.

Hopefully this will give me some sort of normall movement and a return to riding within 6 weeks.

While some services are continuing, I'm deeply sorry to those who are missing out.
My aim is to have my lesson horses in work asap.

Such a shame to see the arena not being used
while I'm out of action so thought I'd offer a little
open hire.

$40 per horse/rider combo, 2 hours onsite.

Happy to sit and watch if you need some
security.

Poles included. No lunging.
Obstacles and jump sand not included.
Waiver and medical to sign on arrival if your not a
current client.

Bookings essential.

Unfortunately I'm out of action for a bit after being kicked by a horse.

7 screws, a plate and 2 unsecured pieces in my femur gives me 6 weeks non weight bearing, then rehab.

Thankyou to those that have reached out privately to offer assistance and visits to keep me sane ☺️

Byo horse lessons at home will be running again soon ( yes, I'll be on crutches for a while but life goes on.) Pm to book.

Bookings in clubs have been cancelled or will be contacted in the coming days to discuss. 😔
Being my right leg, I'm unable to drive at present.

Horses on my training list, I'll be in touch.
Unfortunately, I may no longer offer this service.

Those with school horse bookings, I'll be in touch to discuss credits or refunds.
School horses will take a break and enjoy some time off.
Returning as soon as I'm capable to begin their fitness work and my first rides back in the saddle.
Hoping this is 12 weeks post surgery ( 31.5.26 )

For keeping the farm running, my clients and my own horses well maintained, fed and cared for. Not to mention looking after me and the kids while working full time himself. ❤️

Awaiting surgery and this time it hurts.
😬😬😬 Could be a long weekend waiting.

Sounds like a minimum 6 weeks off the leg pending how surgery goes.

Navarre is a pony sized bucket of fun and I'll truly regret letting him go, but he deserves someone that can give him more or their time and attention.

With 2 feet of mane and enough tail for all your horses to share, he turns heads wherever he goes.
He has done it all!
He always brings home a broad sash from his shows including being the State Champion Led and Ridden Gelding at the AFWHS State Show in 2024.
He has placed in every 3PE comp I've competed in.
He loves obstacles of all kinds! He will push, pull, climb or jump over everything I've asked him too.
He's done Mounted Archery, Tentpegging, Skill at Arms, Freshmans Show-jumping, Extreme Cowboy, Pony Club, Trail Riding and plenty of arena work/ dressage.

Ride in sun, wind, rain, thunder and lightning ( I really didn't want too but the competition went ahead)

Navarre has a very good base education. Including working in a frame, canter leads, yield, turn on the forehand, reinback and side pass.

Navarre is not for the faint hearted and absolutely not for beginners or inexperienced riders. ( I have considered putting less experienced riders on him in the arena)
He can occasionally ( rarely ) add some theatrics when invited. No rear or buck, just a keen leap for joy.

He will keep you interested and be the best sidekick you could ask for. He's super friendly and wants to be into everything with you.

Comes with new combo rug and full set (4) scootboots that are hardly used.
Up to date with it all.

3PE with Navarre this weekend.

Tackling thunder, lightning and rain.

He did me proud. Unfortunately, I messed up, missing an obstacle costing a possible 10 points, but still bringing home 2nd place!

I won't forget the jug table again. 😔

1 hour session, one on one.

Learn all aspects. Grooming, tacking, general knowledge, leading, riding and aftercare.

Qualified, Insured, WWC.
