From Australia to Singapore with love! 🇦🇺➡️🇸🇬
Pearl was such a brave girl for her vaccinations yesterday as we finish getting her ready for her big flight to her new home in the coming weeks! ✈️
I am so deeply touched by this placement; it is a family reunion of sorts, as she’ll be joining her uncle (Romeo’s brother) in Singapore. There is no greater compliment for my breeding program than a repeat buyer returning to Aashudna for another puppy. 🍫🐾
We are going to miss this sweet face, but we are so happy she’s going to such a fantastic home just in time for Australia Day! 🌟
Thank you 🙏

There is something so timeless about these two! Our 3 week old girls are growing beautifully.
While we love their looks, their future health is our main priority. That’s why Sasha will be backscored before her 2026 litter. affects 1 in 4 dachshunds, and we believe that through rigorous testing and careful pairing with low-scoring sires, we can change those odds.
I’m so passionate about this that I’ve been working to convince other breeders to join us in backscoring their stock. It’s an investment in the breed we love.
When you’re looking for your next family member, please ask specifically about backscoring. Let’s work together to make "bad backs" a thing of the past for our dachshunds.

🐾 Seeking the Perfect Retirement Placement 🐾
Austin | 7-Month-Old Male | Miniature Dachshund
We are cross-posting this handsome young man on behalf of Rubystud Performance Dogs.
Austin has been beautifully show-trained and comes from quality, health-tested lines with low back-scored parents.
Because he has a retained testicle, he is being retired from the ring and is ready for a "forever sofa" where he can be a high-quality companion.
Why Austin is Special:
Show Training: He already has the basics of lead work and stacking down pat.
Health Focus: Bred from parents with excellent back-scoring results. His dam being a grade ZERO, no signs of degradation at all. The sire is a grade 2, excellent also. He has completed his minimum puppy boosters.
Temperament: At 7 months, he is at a wonderful age to bond with a new family.
Note: Please be aware that Austin is seeking for a pet-only placement.
If you believe you can offer this stunning boy the lifestyle he deserves, please reach out directly to Amy Sheridan via DM directly or via her Rubystud page for further details.

A Rare Moment at Aashudna 🍫✨
In over 12 years as a Registered Dogs NSW breeder, this is the very first time I have offered a Chocolate Dapple female to the public. Usually, a girl of this caliber stays right here in our program regardless of colour.
Pearl is now seeking her forever people. She was my "pick of the litter" keeper and is a beautiful example of the breed, representing over a decade of my dedication to health and type.
The Details:
Age: 10 weeks
Scone NSW
Note: She has a small inguinal hernia (discovered at 9 weeks) which is a simple, routine fix at the time of her 12-18 month desexing, if it doesn't resolve on it own. I have only see it twice last week.

A Special Christmas Opportunity – Meet Pearl 🐾✨
Sometimes plans change for the better! This is Pearl, a stunning Chocolate Dapple female from our Holly litter. Pearl was my "pick of the litter" keeper puppy to stay here at Aashudna because she is beautifully balanced and true to breed type.
While she passed her 8-week vet check perfectly, I discovered a small inguinal (groin) hernia today at 9 weeks. While she is happy, healthy, and thriving, this means Pearl is now avai$ab1e to a dedicated pet-only s-home.
Note to previous inquiries: If you have previously reached out to me regarding a Chocolate Dapple, please get in touch or send me a fresh message, as Pearl is a rare opportunity to welcome a top-quality Aashudna puppy into your shome.
The Details:
Name: Pearl
Age: 9 weeks old (Ready now)
Health Note: These small hernias often resolve on their own by 8–9 months. If it hasn’t closed by the time she is ready for desexing (12–18 months), it is a very routine repair for your vet to perform at that time.
Pearl is an exceptional girl ready for a lifetime of love. While it’s just days before Christmas, we are seeking a s-home committed to her for her whole life.
Inquiries: Please phone or text Heather or visit our website. 💻 www.aashudna.net.au ✨ Dogs NSW Member

Welcome to Aashudna Miniature Dachshunds - Let us introduce ourselves!
We are a small ANKC kennel registered with Dogs NSW striving for excellence in quality, type and temperament. We have deep affiliations with other ANKC registered kennel’s within Australia with the key objective being to preserve the best bloodlines & temperaments while also focusing our efforts on ‘colour’ being the Chocolate and Tan Miniature Dachshund. We are members and a standing committee member of the Dachshund Club of NSW Inc.
Since the very beginning, our love for the Dachshund was strong, with their unmistaken beauty and fierce love for life. Our dogs bring much joy and enrichment to both mine and my husband’s lives – which is what first prompted us of becoming a registered breeder with Dogs NSW in 2011. Becoming a breeder was not something we took light-hearted after acquiring our chocolate and tan male miniature dachshund BenG from Acovagem, a rural NSW breeder in Grenfell.
Owning a number of miniature dachshunds ourselves, our extended family all view them as our ‘FUR-KIDS’ with each and every FUR-KID having their own profile page on our website so feel free to browse and view each of them to see some pictures and a little bit of information about each one. All our FUR-KIDS sleep inside our home at night with a separate doggy door access to the rear yard, in addition to this we have altered our home to help cater towards their needs which includes air conditioning for those hot summer days and underfloor heating for those chilly winter days. Our FUR-KIDS are never kennelled or garaged, they are free to roam the family home when we are home and have been well-trained to NOT enter off-limit areas.
Health issues in miniature dachshunds are of top priority and importance within our kennel. Our miniature dachshunds are screened and TESTED for genetic diseases which are offered by our chosen genetic services provider and prior to them being used in our breeding program or OFFERED for stud. We have also recently incorporated IVDD backscoring into our selection process. You can view our results which are freely available to view on the National Dachshunds Council Website.
Dachshund Club of NSW inc
My husband and I are actively involved in the Dachshund Club of NSW inc. This allows us to be in regular contact with like minded breeders and allows access to some of the best stud males in Australia.
Please browse our page or our website to continue your journey towards finding your wonderful four-pawed companion.
