EVENT FARRIER

LG Forge & Equine is a full-service farriery business based in Scone, run by Laura & George Hunt who have recently relocated to Scone from New Zealand. George is a qualified farrier with 16 years’ experience. George provides a range of equine hoof care services, from basic trimming through to specialised shoeing for horses across multiple disciplines.
In addition to his own busy run of racehorses, sport horses and stud horses, George has also recently joined the Equine Podiatry and Lameness Centre team providing specialist farrier services and routine hoof care from the EPLC clinic in Muswellbrook. George holds a Certificate in Farriery Practice from the New Zealand Farriers Association.
