Meet one of the farm’s most unusual residents. 🦆❤️

This Muscovy duck has been with us for years, and while we think she may have suffered a stroke at some point, she continues to waddle through life completely on her own terms.
She is a little wonky, a little mysterious, and definitely one of a kind. Some days she seems to be in a world all of her own, but that’s part of what makes her so special.

At City Chicks Farm, not every animal is perfect — and that’s exactly why we love them. They each have a story, and this quacky duck reminds us that there’s beauty in growing old and doing things your own way.

Come and say hello to one of the farm’s most unique characters. You never know what she’ll be up to next. 🦆✨

Great weekend with many visitors coming to our City Chicks Farm in Moreton Bay for an escape from city life. Country cafe hospitality and the joy of watching farm animals and chickens roaming the pathways. Samford Valleys gorgeous farm experience with the bonus of a cafe for hot coffee, home cooked breakfast and fresh country air. Open 8-1pm through the week and 8-2pm on the weekends.

Rain, wind..it’s all happening at City Chicks Farm in Samford Valley. So we raided the lemonade fruit tree and made jam! Lots of it. Ginger Lemonade Jam now a delicious treat on hot sourdough! Grab a jar at your visit. Brisbane’s farm experience with chickens, goats, cows and sheep. See you at Samford 8-2pm this Sat or Sunday.

Rocky & Snowy have settled in beautifully at our Brisbane farm in Samford Valley 🤍🐮

These two little boys are already loving the farm life — sunshine, cuddles, warm bottles, and lots of attention.

They’re now waiting patiently for visitors to come and meet them, give them a pat, and see just how gentle, loving, and beautiful farm animals really are 🌾✨

There’s something special about slowing down and connecting with animals… and these boys are ready to steal a few hearts. City Chicks Farm rescues 2 calves a year and offers them a happy life chewing down the hillside here.

My 2 newest little farm babies have officially arrived to City Chicks Farm at Samford Valley, and they’re already stealing hearts around here 🐮✨

One is sweet and gentle… the other already thinks he runs the farm!

Rescue calves arrive here once a year saving them from a less favourable outcome. The beautiful part of the story is that as gentle hand raised cows they will end up going to customers who have become friends and go to their hobby farm property to be loved and adored.

Are you interested in learning about what it takes to own a calf, mini goats or Dorper sheep? As well as poultry breeds, I can talk your ear off about any of these! Come in for a chat and a stroll and a break from the bricks & mortar. City Chicks is open daily and this weekend 8am to 2pm. brisbane
