It was so nice to have the 4 prep classes from All Saints School visiting the farm. We had a lot of fun together learning about worms, bees and seeds.

From scavenger hunts looking for vegetables, to holding worms and watching the bees hard at work on the farm.

The interactive learning experiences give the children an opportunity to deepen their understanding of how our food grows and see regenerative farming in action.

I’m sure there will be many more conversations with teachers and families about all that they learnt here at Green Thumb Farm 🌱

Rain, hail or shine our organic farmgate markets are here every Saturday 8-11am 🥕🥦🌽

Coffee ☕️ organic sourdough bread 🥨🥐🍞

Farm prices! Fresh harvested in the rain this morning - so lovely. And if we don’t grow it we bring it in from other Organics produce from local farmers. 🙌🙌🙌

Little Green Thumbs 🪴is a delightful opportunity for children and their families to spend time enjoying the farm.

Children can water the vegetables, help with growing food, care for and feed the worms and wonder between the produce looking for bees and insects.

This term we are able to welcome families on a Tuesday and Wednesday morning with the support of Moreton Bay City Council. The term has got off to a flying start and the children and families are loving it.

With a gentle and relaxed rhythm children are able to explore and wonder about the world around them. From closely watching a beetle to learning more about fruits and vegetables, there is always a gentle busyness within the space.

Bookings are essential as places are limited so keep a look out for Term 4 dates if you would like to join in the fun.
